The Brain Dump:
Get Everything Into a System

Month 2, Week 2

1 / 15
The Problem

Your Head Is a Terrible Project Management Tool

Right now, you are holding dozens of tasks, half-formed ideas, promises you made, and things you keep meaning to get to. None of it is visible to your PureBrain.

Brain Dump Fix
One session to empty it all
The hidden cost of mental juggling: Every open loop in your head drains attention. You are not just holding tasks. You are burning cognitive energy keeping track of them. That energy should go toward decisions, not inventory management.
The brain dump solution: Get everything out of your head and into a structured format your PureBrain can act on. Projects, tasks, deadlines, ideas, scattered notes. Once it is captured, your AI can help you organize, prioritize, and execute.

The Invisible Work

If Your AI Cannot See It, Your AI Cannot Help

Your PureBrain is powerful. But it can only work with what you give it. Everything still in your head is invisible to your AI.

What is Stuck in Your Head

  • Client projects with no written next steps
  • Promises you made in meetings last week
  • Ideas you had in the car that you never wrote down
  • Follow-ups you keep meaning to send
  • That proposal you need to finish "sometime"
  • Systems you want to build but never start

What Your AI Could Do With It

  • Organize projects by area of your business
  • Surface the 3 things that matter most this week
  • Draft the follow-ups and send them for your review
  • Break vague ideas into concrete action steps
  • Track commitments and remind you before deadlines
  • Build a project inventory you check every morning

“Your AI does not need more capability. It needs more visibility into what you are actually working on.”

The Protocol

The 20-Minute Brain Dump

One session. Everything out of your head. Your PureBrain organizes it.

Step 1
Open Chat
Start a PureBrain session
Step 2
Set the Frame
Tell your AI what you are doing
Step 3
Dump
20 min. No filtering. Everything.
Step 4
Organize
AI groups and categorizes

The Opening Prompt

“I am going to dump every project, task, and commitment I am currently juggling. Capture them all, organize them by area of my business, and tell me what you see. I will talk for about 20 minutes. Do not interrupt or summarize until I say I am done.”

Rules for the dump: Do not filter. Do not organize. Do not judge. Just get everything out. The messy, the urgent, the half-baked, the "I should really" items. Your AI handles the structure. You handle the honesty.
Why 20 minutes? Most people run out of obvious items after 5 minutes. The real value comes from minutes 10 through 20, when you surface the commitments and ideas you forgot you were holding. That is where the relief is.
4 / 15
The Organization

Let Your PureBrain Sort the Chaos

After the dump, your AI groups, categorizes, and surfaces patterns you did not see.

Marketing

Campaigns, content, ads, social media, brand projects, analytics, lead gen, outreach, partnerships, events

Operations

Internal systems, team management, process improvements, vendor relationships, tools, workflows, hiring

Sales

Pipeline, proposals, follow-ups, client meetings, pricing, contracts, upsells, renewals, prospecting

Finance

Invoicing, budgets, expenses, tax prep, cash flow, subscriptions, payment terms, collections

Product

Service delivery, product development, client deliverables, quality control, new offerings, R&D

Ideas / Someday

Good ideas that are not actionable right now. The parking lot. Your AI will remind you when the timing is right.

What your AI will show you: Clusters you did not notice. Duplicate efforts across areas. The three things that actually move the needle versus the fifteen that just feel urgent. Patterns in where your attention is stuck.
The categories above are suggestions. Your AI will adapt to your business. If you are a freelancer, you might have "Client A, Client B, Client C" instead. Let your PureBrain propose the groupings based on what you dumped.
5 / 15
Structuring for Delegation

Projects vs. Tasks vs. Ideas

Not everything from your brain dump is the same type of work. Knowing the difference determines how you delegate.

Projects

Multi-step work with a clear outcome. Requires a plan, multiple delegations, and a review cycle. Examples: website redesign, Q3 marketing strategy, new client onboarding process.

Break down, then delegate step by step

Tasks

Single actions that can be delegated right now. No plan needed, just a clear brief. Examples: draft a follow-up email, pull this week's ad spend, research a competitor's pricing page.

Brief it, send it, review it

Ideas

Not actionable right now. Good concepts waiting for the right moment. Examples: podcast idea, new service offering, partnership with that company you met at the conference.

Park it. AI reminds you when relevant.

Example: From Dump to Structure

Raw dump:"Need to redo the website"
Type:Project (multi-step)
First task:"Audit current site, list what works and what does not"
Delegation:Brief that first task to your AI now

Example: Quick Task

Raw dump:"Follow up with Sarah from the event"
Type:Task (single action)
Brief:"Draft a warm follow-up to Sarah, reference our conversation about X"
Delegation:Send it right now, review in 2 min

The Output

Your Project Inventory

The brain dump produces a living document: every active project, its status, its next step, and who owns it.

Sample Project Inventory (After Brain Dump)

Marketing
Q3 content calendarPROJECT - Next: outline topics
LinkedIn post for product launchTASK - Draft ready for review
Competitor analysis (pricing)TASK - Waiting on brief
Sales
Follow up with Sarah (event)TASK - AI can draft now
Proposal for Acme CorpPROJECT - Next: scope the deliverables
Ideas / Someday

Partner program with consulting firmPARKED - needs intro from Mike
This becomes your daily reference. Save it to Google Drive. Your PureBrain checks it every morning and tells you: what moved, what is stalled, and what needs your attention today.

Priority Triage

Not Everything Matters Equally

After the brain dump, use this framework with your PureBrain to rank what actually deserves your attention this week.

1
Makes Money Now

Revenue-generating activities. Proposals, closes, deliverables that trigger invoices. If it puts money in the account this week, it goes first.

2
Prevents Losing Money

Retention, client fires, compliance, team issues. If ignoring it costs you a client or creates a crisis, it goes second.

3
Builds Long-Term Leverage

Systems, content, automation, training your AI. Does not pay today, but compounds over time. This is where Week 1's conductor mindset lives.

Everything else is noise. Your PureBrain can help you rank, but you decide what matters. Ask your AI: "Based on this inventory, what are the top 3 things I should focus on this week, and why?" Then compare its answer to your gut. The gaps are informative.
The triage prompt: "Look at my project inventory. Rank everything by: (1) makes money now, (2) prevents losing money, (3) builds long-term leverage. Everything else goes to the parking lot. Tell me my top 3 for this week."
8 / 15
The Parking Lot

Good Ideas That Are Not for Now

Not every idea is actionable today. But good ideas deserve a home. The parking lot keeps them alive without cluttering your focus.

Without a Parking Lot

  • Ideas live in your head, draining attention
  • You feel guilty for not acting on them
  • Good concepts get forgotten completely
  • You confuse "interesting" with "urgent"
  • Shiny objects pull you off your real priorities

With a Parking Lot

  • Ideas are captured and safe. You can let go.
  • Your AI reminds you when context changes
  • You review the parking lot monthly (or ask your AI to)
  • Good ideas resurface at the right moment
  • Your active focus stays sharp and intentional

“The parking lot is not where ideas go to die. It is where they go to wait for their moment.

How to use it: Any item from your brain dump that does not fit priority tiers 1, 2, or 3 goes to the parking lot. Tell your PureBrain: "Add this to my parking lot with a note about why it is interesting and what conditions would make it worth revisiting."

Making It Actionable

Route Every Item: Delegate, Decide, or Automate

Once organized, every item in your inventory needs a routing decision. This is the bridge from brain dump to delegation.

Delegate

Needs judgment and context. Brief your PureBrain with the outcome, context, and format. Review the result. Examples: draft proposals, research, content, analysis.

Your AI does it. You review.

Automate

Repeatable and low-stakes. Set it up once, it runs on schedule. No review needed. Examples: daily summaries, weekly metric pulls, follow-up reminders, data backups.

Set once. Runs forever. (Week 4 topic)

Decide Yourself

High-stakes and irreversible. Your AI prepares the brief, but you make the call. Examples: pricing, hiring, contracts, strategic pivots, brand commitments.

AI prepares. You decide.
After your brain dump, ask your PureBrain: "Go through my inventory item by item. For each one, recommend: delegate to you, automate, or flag for my decision. Explain your reasoning." You will be surprised how much your AI can take off your plate immediately.
The default answer is: delegate it. If you are unsure, err on the side of delegation. Your AI produces a draft. You review it. If it is wrong, you correct it and the correction becomes permanent. Nothing ships without your approval.
10 / 15
Where It All Lives

Your Brain Dump Becomes a Living Dashboard

The PureBrain Portal is the visual layer on top of your delegation system. Every project, task, and idea from your brain dump shows up here.

Projects Board

Every project from your brain dump gets its own card. See status at a glance: active, waiting on you, in progress, complete. No more guessing what your AI is working on.

Task Queue

Individual tasks live in a clear queue. Your PureBrain picks up queued work when you are away. You see what got done and what is next without asking.

Status Updates

Your PureBrain reports back automatically. What it completed, what needs your review, what is blocked. You check the portal instead of digging through chat history.

Ideas Parking Lot

Parked ideas from your brain dump live here too. Your PureBrain surfaces them when context changes. Nothing gets lost. Nothing gets forgotten.

“You dump it. Your PureBrain organizes it. The Portal shows you the status.”

11 / 15
Always Working

Your PureBrain Does Not Stop When You Close the Laptop

Queue up tasks from your brain dump. Walk away. Your PureBrain works your queue and reports back through the Portal.

Status Report
Done, needs review, blocked
What you wake up to: A status report in the Portal. Three tasks completed overnight. One draft ready for your review. One item flagged as blocked because it needs information only you have. Your to-do list got shorter while you slept.
What this replaces: The old way was coming back to the same pile you left. Nothing moved. Nobody worked on it. Your PureBrain turns idle time into productive time. The queue never stops.

“Wake up to a status report, not a to-do list.”
