We’ve updated our Privacy Policy (October 12, 2026). We now state that we do not train AI models on your content, explain which AI features run on your own Claude account and which run on ours, describe how we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity on our website, and list Stripe as our payment processor. Read the live chat section or the summary of changes in Section 11.

This Privacy Policy explains how Pure Technology Inc. (“Pure Technology,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit purebrain.ai, use live chat on our website, or use our PureBrain AI service. We believe in plain language. This document is written to be understood, not to bury important information in legalese.

Using live chat? Please read this first. When you chat with us on purebrain.ai, our team can see what you type in the chat box as you type it, before you press send. Unsent drafts are not saved. An AI assistant may answer first, and AI assistants only ever receive messages you actually send. Full details are in Section 1, “Live Chat on Our Website.”

If you have questions about anything here, you can reach us directly at [email protected].

1 Information We Collect

Conversations with PureBrain

When you interact with our PureBrain AI assistant, the content of those conversations is logged. This includes the questions you ask, the context you share, and the responses the AI provides. We use this data to answer you, keep the assistant working, and follow up with you. We do not use it to train or fine-tune AI models, and the AI provider that powers the assistant processes it under business terms that do not permit it to train on this content (see "AI Model Training" in Section 4). This paragraph covers the PureBrain AI assistant only. It does not apply to live chat on our website, even when our team uses an AI assistant tool to help draft a reply. Live chat is covered separately below, and we do not use live chat transcripts to train AI models.

Where these conversations are kept. We store these conversations on our own servers. We do not send them to any outside analytics service. We use them to answer you, follow up with you, provide support, check the quality of the assistant, and count how many visitors use it. We keep them for the period shown in Data Retention (Section 6). They do not include payment information.

Live Chat on Our Website

Typing preview: we can see what you type before you send it.

When you chat with us on purebrain.ai, a member of our team can see the text in the chat box as you type it, before you press send. That includes words you type and then delete without sending. We do this so we can respond faster.

  • The typing preview only starts after you enter your details and click Start chat. Nothing you type before then is shown to us.
  • Unsent drafts are shown to our team in real time only. They are not saved, and they are never sent to any AI assistant (ours or a team member’s) or to any other company.
  • Only messages you send become part of the saved chat transcript.
  • Our live chat is operated by Pure Technology. No third-party chat vendor receives your messages or your drafts.
  • Who’s on our site right now. While you have a page of purebrain.ai open, even if you never start a chat, your browser sends our team a small live signal so we can see how many people are visiting and offer help. It contains only the page you are viewing (with anything after “?” or “#” in the address removed), the country your connection comes from, how many minutes you have been on the site, and whether you are in a chat. It uses a random code that exists only while that browser tab is open. It is not linked to your name, email address, IP address, or any cookie, and nothing is stored on your device. Each signal is held in our systems’ memory for about 75 seconds and is never saved. We do not collect this signal from visitors in the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland unless they start a chat.

By clicking Start chat, you agree to the typing preview and to the rest of this Privacy Policy. If you don’t want us to see your messages before you send them, please don’t use live chat. Email us at [email protected] instead.

What we collect. When you use live chat, we collect:

AI in live chat. Only one AI replies to you directly: our website assistant. Our team may also use AI assistant tools to help draft replies. Every AI reply, and every reply drafted with AI, is labelled, and no AI-drafted reply is ever presented as written by a person alone.

Our website assistant (“PureBrain AI assistant”). It may answer your chat first. It does not write its own replies. It only picks an answer that our team has written and approved in advance, and sends that answer word for word. If no approved answer fits, or your question needs a person, it hands the chat to our team.

AI-assisted replies from our team. Our team may use AI assistant tools to help draft replies. A team member reads and approves every such reply before it is sent, and these replies are labelled with the team member’s name and the assistant’s name, for example “Jared S · via Chy (AI assistant).” AI assistant tools cannot send a reply without a team member’s approval.

For all AI replies:

Why we collect it. To answer your questions; to email you a reply or a copy of the conversation; to follow up with you about your inquiry; to keep a record of our conversation so anyone on our team can pick it up; to understand which pages and campaigns lead people to contact us; and to improve our website, our approved answers, and our support. We do not use live chat transcripts to train or fine-tune AI models. (An AI assistant keeping notes about your chat so it can follow up, as described above, is not training a model.)

Emails about your chat. If you leave the chat before we reply, or you ask for a copy of the conversation, we email you through our email provider, Brevo, from [email protected] (the address we use for chat replies, transcript copies, newsletter sign-up and event registration confirmations). These emails are about your inquiry. We will not add you to The Neural Feed newsletter unless you choose to subscribe, and you can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.

Booking a call. If you click “Book a call,” we open our booking page (Apex) with your name and email already filled in, so you don’t have to type them again. If you book a call, we keep the booking details with your contact record.

Our customer records (CRM). When you start a chat, we create or update a contact record (“lead”) for you in Apex, the customer relationship management system that Pure Technology operates. The record holds your name, email, the chat transcript or a summary of it, any call you book, and the page, referrer, and campaign information above. We use it to follow up about your inquiry.

Legal basis (EU/EEA/UK visitors). We process live chat data to respond to your request and take steps you ask for before entering into a contract, and for our legitimate interest in providing customer support and understanding how visitors find us. Newsletter sign-up is based on your consent.

Your choices. You can ask for a copy of your chat transcript or ask us to delete it, and your contact record, at any time. Email [email protected] (see Section 13).

Email Addresses

If you subscribe to The Neural Feed (our newsletter), fill out a contact form, or start a live chat, we collect your email address. We use it to send you the communications you requested and to respond to your inquiry. If you subscribe to the newsletter, we also send updates about PureBrain.

Business Information (Enterprise Inquiries)

If you submit an enterprise inquiry, we collect your name, company name, job title or role, and use case information. This helps us understand your needs and respond appropriately.

Payment Information

If you subscribe to a PureBrain plan, your payment is processed entirely by our payment processors, Stripe or PayPal. We do not receive or store your full credit card or banking details. Stripe and PayPal handle payment data under their own privacy policies.

Technical and Usage Data

Like most websites, we automatically collect certain technical information when you visit:

This data is collected through Cloudflare (our hosting, security, and CDN provider) and Microsoft Clarity (session analytics; see Section 5).

2 How We Use Your Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for unrelated advertising.

4 Conversation Data & AI Memory

This section covers conversations with your PureBrain AI Brain as a subscriber. Live chat on our website, including replies our team drafts with AI tools, is covered in Section 1, “Live Chat on Our Website.”

This section deserves special attention because PureBrain is unique in how it uses data. The persistent memory feature is central to the service.

What We Store

Why We Store It

PureBrain’s core value proposition is persistent memory. Your AI Brain retains context across sessions so it can give you progressively better and more personalized assistance. This requires storing your conversation history and derived context on servers we control.

How Conversation Data Is Used

AI Model Training

Pure Technology does not train AI models on your content. We do not use your conversations, files, AI memory, or the content your AI creates for you to train or fine-tune any AI model, whether ours or anyone else's. When we offer "custom AI training", it means our team stepping in to help you teach your own AI: loading your knowledge, instructions, and skills into it. It is used only for your account, and no AI model is retrained or fine-tuned by us. We may use limited usage information that does not include your content, such as feature usage, error rates, and performance measurements, to operate and improve the Service.

Your Claude account and Anthropic. Your PureBrain AI runs on Claude through your own Claude account, which you hold directly with Anthropic. When your AI works, your content is processed by Anthropic under Anthropic's Consumer Terms and Privacy Policy, not under an agreement between Pure Technology and Anthropic. Because you bring your own Claude account, you control whether Anthropic may use your chats and coding sessions to improve its models. Pure Technology does not control this setting and cannot change it for you.

At the time of writing, the setting is in your Claude account under Settings > Privacy: turn off "Help improve our AI models." Anthropic may rename or move it. Its current instructions are at privacy.claude.com.

According to Anthropic:

Features that run on our accounts. Some features use AI accounts that Pure Technology holds, not your Claude account. The AI chat on our pre-purchase /awakening page uses Pure Technology's Anthropic API account. That content is processed under Anthropic's commercial terms, which do not permit Anthropic to train models on API inputs. The live chat website assistant uses Cloudflare Workers AI (see "Live Chat on Our Website"), and under Cloudflare's terms for Workers AI, Cloudflare does not use that content to train AI models. Tools our team uses to support you are likewise used under providers' business terms. Whatever the feature, Pure Technology never trains AI models on customer content.

Please review Anthropic's terms and privacy policy at anthropic.com/legal.

Post-Cancellation

After your subscription ends, your conversation history and AI memory data are retained for 30 days, during which you may request an export. After 30 days, this data is permanently deleted. See the Data Retention section for full details.

5 Cookies and Tracking

Cookie Classification

Cookie Type Purpose Can You Opt Out?
Strictly Necessary Session management, authentication, security (Cloudflare bot detection, DDoS protection) No. Required for the Service to function
Functional Remembering your preferences and chat session state No significant impact if disabled, but may affect UX
Analytics Understanding how users interact with the site (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) Yes, via browser settings
Marketing Tracking ad performance if applicable Yes, via browser settings

What We Don’t Do

We do not run third-party advertising retargeting pixels from Meta, Google Ads, or similar platforms on purebrain.ai.

Live visitor signal. Our live chat uses a short-lived signal, not a cookie, to show our team who is on the site right now. It stores nothing on your device and is never saved. See “Who’s on our site right now” in Section 1.

Google Analytics and live chat. We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use our site, including our pricing pages. If we turn on chat analytics, our live chat will tell Google Analytics only three things: that a chat was started, that the live chat form was submitted, or that a booking link was clicked. It will send these with the page address, with anything after "?" or "#" removed, and it will never send your name, email address, messages, or chat ID. We do not use Google Analytics information for advertising, and Google Analytics on our site is not connected to Google Ads.

Your choices. Even if chat analytics is on, we will not send these live chat events if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, or if you are visiting from the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland. You can also block Google Analytics with your browser's cookie settings or Google's opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).

Note on Microsoft Clarity: We use Microsoft Clarity on our website. Clarity tracks how visitors use our website, including clicks, scrolling, mouse movement, pages viewed, and session behaviour, through heatmaps and session recordings, along with device and browser information. Microsoft processes this data under the Microsoft Privacy Statement (privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement).

Cookie Control

Visitors in the EU, EEA, UK, and Switzerland. If you visit from the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we ask for your choice before loading Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity. They load only if you click "Accept all" or turn them on in "Cookie settings". If you click "Reject all", they do not load. Strictly necessary cookies (security, bot protection, and keeping you signed in) are always on. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.

Most browsers allow you to control cookies through settings. Blocking certain cookies may affect the functionality of PureBrain (for example, session state in the AI chat or live chat). You can learn how to manage cookies through your browser’s help documentation.

To exercise your GDPR rights, email [email protected] with “GDPR Request” in the subject line. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9 Children’s Privacy

PureBrain, including live chat on our website, is designed for business professionals and is intended only for people who are 18 years of age or older, consistent with our Terms of Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it promptly. If you believe we may have collected such information, please contact us immediately at [email protected].

11 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services evolve or as legal requirements change. When we make material changes, we will:

Continued use of PureBrain after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Most recent change (October 12, 2026): We now describe our use of Google Analytics, including the limited live chat events we may send to it if we turn on chat analytics, and how to opt out. We removed language saying we may use conversations to train our systems: we do not train AI models on your content. We now explain which AI features run on your own Claude account (where your Anthropic settings apply) and which run on our accounts (where providers' business terms do not permit training). We removed an outdated third-party listing. We describe more plainly how Microsoft Clarity analytics works on our website.

Earlier change (October 9, 2026): We added Section 1, “Live Chat on Our Website” (including the typing preview, our website assistant, AI-assisted replies from our team, chat emails, call booking, and customer records). We explained that our team may use AI tools to help draft live chat replies, and that a team member reads and approves every such reply before it is sent, and it is labelled. We also added Stripe, Microsoft Clarity, and Apex to our list of services, updated how Brevo and Cloudflare are used, removed GoDaddy/WordPress (no longer used to host purebrain.ai), added live chat retention periods, and changed the minimum age to 18 to match our Terms of Service. We also added the live visitor signal (“Who’s on our site right now”) and explained that, during a chat, our team can see which page of our site you are on.

12 Business Transfers

If Pure Technology Inc. is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or substantially all of its assets, your personal information may be transferred to the successor entity as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.

In the event of such a transfer, the successor entity will be required to honor the commitments made in this Privacy Policy, unless you are notified otherwise and given an opportunity to opt out.
