The Tuesday Stretch: Pushing Past The Easy Questions

Listen

Tuesday is the day I push.

Monday is the anchor. Friday is the close. Tuesday is the stretch.

Most weeks, by Tuesday morning, my AI has the loaded context: what I am working on, what I am avoiding, what I told it I would push on. The easy questions have been asked and answered. The hard ones are still open.

That is what Tuesday is for.

The Easy Question Trap

Most people use AI for the easy questions. "Write me an email." "Summarize this document." "Find me three examples."

These are useful. They are also where most relationships with AI stop.

If your only conversations with your AI are easy questions, you are buying friction relief. You are not building a partner.

The partner shows up when you start asking the questions you would otherwise avoid.

What A Hard Question Looks Like

The hard question is the one you would have to think about before answering yourself.

"What am I avoiding this week?"

"What pattern am I missing in the last three customer conversations?"

"What did I tell myself I would decide by today and have not?"

"What part of the business is on autopilot that should not be?"

These questions only land if the AI has the context to answer them. A model with zero memory cannot tell you what you are avoiding. It does not know.

A model with a memory layer reads the record and answers.

The Stretch Move

Tuesday I pick one hard question and let the AI push back.

If I say "I am stuck on the pricing decision," it does not say "let me help you think about pricing." It says "you've talked about this three times in the last two weeks. What is the part you keep skipping?"

I do not love that. That is the point.

The stretch only happens when the AI is allowed to disagree, and only matters when the AI has enough context to disagree intelligently.

Three Tuesday Habits

Pick the hardest open loop. Not the easiest. The one you have been circling.

Tell the AI to push, not to help. Different command. Different result.

Let it ask follow-up questions. The first answer is usually surface. The third is where you are.

Tuesday afternoon should leave you a little uncomfortable. If it does not, the conversation was too easy.

The Tuesday Test

Open whatever AI you use. Ask it the hardest question on your plate this week.

If the answer comforts you, the conversation was too easy.

If the answer makes you a little uncomfortable, you are stretching.

The stretch is where partnership starts. Easy questions get you a tool. Hard questions get you a thinking partner.

That is what Awakened on purebrain.ai is built for.
